"Since our founding in 1998, we have experienced continuous growth. From our experience in the world of metal construction, we knew very well what metal constructors expect from their partners for powder coating. These needs and requirements formed the starting point for Tilkin Powder Coatings.
Approximately 90 percent of our production capacity is filled by metal constructors from the provinces of Limburg, Liège, Flemish and Walloon Brabant, and South Netherlands. They rely on us for the surface treatment of gates, fences, balustrades, railings, stairs, radiators, visible metal building elements, etc. In addition to a refined finish, we specialise in very large and heavy pieces. We also work for various sectors for the treatment of machines, car or motorcycle parts, street furniture, etc. Individuals are always welcome. We process more than 5,000 orders annually.
Jo Tilkin is responsible for the daily management of Tilkin Powder Coatings. Rosy Tilkin is responsible for the first contact with the customer and the commercial process to convince you as a potential customer of our professional approach. Furthermore, Rosy is responsible for the daily accounting, all quotation requests, and the processing of more than 6500 orders per year. For order processing, she is assisted daily by her two production preparers: Jens Mathijs and Dirk Baus.
Jens and Dirk process the orders mainly in a uniquely developed computer program. As a result, all specific points of attention and the required treatments are precisely determined even before the production process has started, as well as the price the customer has to pay. The necessary raw materials are automatically ordered from our suppliers. All production employees must register everything they process daily in time so that a post-calculation can lead to a correct price for the product. An additional advantage of this is that all production employees can closely follow the production process at any time of the day and the customer can thus receive a real-time status of their ongoing orders, regardless of their size.
The technical questions of customers, providing advice, and handling complaints are among the responsibilities of Jo.
Customer visits outside and the search for new potential customers in the metal sector are an additional activity of Jo.
Striving for perfection and quality is the top priority for the Tilkin family. A direct result of this is the continuous search for improvements and optimisations. In 2017/2018, no less than 6.8 million euros were invested in new buildings and in the high-performance machinery park through which you can soon walk.
The 36 production employees of Tilkin Powder Coatings are under the daily management of our production manager Mike Piette. Mike is responsible for the continuous control of perfect execution and timely handling of more than 6500 orders per year. Annually, we provide more than 80,000 m² of metal surface with a durable coating.
Thanks to its loyal and professional employees, Tilkin Powder Coatings is known as a leading company and has been a fixture in the metal construction conservation sector in the Benelux for more than 20 years.
