Fast, punctual, documented and professional
Optimal customer service is our top priority. This philosophy runs as a common thread through our working method. From the initial price inquiry to the just-in-time delivery on site, you can count on our expertise and full commitment. As the first blasting company/powder coating company in Europe, we achieved the EN-1090 certificate. This certificate is the ultimate recognition of our documented and controlled production process and our fast and punctual customer follow-up.
Quick and fully documented quote
Our customer service starts with quickly delivering a documented quote.
Based on the provided information – including the specification document, customer specifications, technical drawings, project location, etc. – we work out a detailed quote.
This quote contains a clear description of the work to be carried out and a separate price for each quality level. In the quotation phase, our advisory role is fully expressed. We analyse all aspects of the project and propose the appropriate treatment and protection techniques.
What quality and level of protection do you prefer?
We work with four quality levels for our surface treatment. Each quality level is associated with a specific quality treatment, a corrosivity class, a visual quality assessment, an expected lifespan, and a warranty period.
You can count on expert advice for your application. You will also receive four price proposals, with the corresponding price for each quality class. Of course, you make the final decision yourself.
Our different quality levels and their associated characteristics:
- Our industrial quality guarantees the ideal solution if the construction parts do not have to meet strict requirements, a visual inspection is not so critical, and the warranty for outdoor use does not need to exceed 5 years. This quality is perfect when price is of decisive importance. The quality is still much higher than traditional painting. Moreover, it is cheaper.
- Our standard quality already far exceeds the average market quality.
- Choose our superior quality for outdoor applications with a 15-year warranty period. This quality is intended for people for whom the best is not good enough.
- In the vicinity of the sea or in areas near heavy industrial zones, we always recommend our marine quality. This marine quality offers additional protection and guarantees a longer lifespan with still a beautiful visual end result.
Packing
The treated constructions are meticulously packaged to avoid possible damage during or after transport.
These are then loaded onto pallets or stands, or placed loose in your car or truck.
Before the treated products are packaged, they undergo a precise final inspection by our quality manager.
The packaging method depends on factors such as:
- Specific customer requirements
- The combination of different shapes of the metal constructions
- ...
Everything is carried out to the best of our ability by our skilled employees.

Documented and controlled production process
After agreeing on our offer and determining the desired quality level, we take the next step in administrative processing through our advanced ERP system.
This provides you as a customer with a clear confirmation mentioning the supplied goods, a detailing of the chosen treatment, and the colour code.
We assign unique codes to the materials. These inform our blasters, metallisers, and powder coaters about the chosen treatment with any customer specifications.
Every step in the production process is recorded. This allows for a check of the entire production process. In the event of a quality issue, we can immediately find out what went wrong and where.
After checking and packaging the treated materials, you automatically receive a notification that everything is ready for transport.
We store all data of your order for at least ten years. This includes your reference, the time registration of our employees, batch numbers of the raw materials, and any communication with you as a customer.
Hanging and transporting in the rail system
Why are metal products hung up?
By hanging up the metal products, we reduce the total number of operations required per workpiece to complete the entire production process. In this way, productivity is significantly increased. Moreover, we can save space because we can buffer the workpieces closer together.
By hanging up the metal products, a minimum number of contact points is created. This is extremely important because the contact points with the metal object are always visible. For example, a blasted workpiece should not be touched with bare hands because our body moisture contains salt. This salt very quickly causes underlying rust spots, which would lead to inferior finishing quality.
When are metal products hung up here?
We hang up the metal products from the moment the objects are blasted and need to receive a coating. After that, they are transported hanging in one of our two hanging zones. One hanging zone is used to hang steel products that still need to be provided with a zinc/aluminium coating (metallising). The second hanging zone is used to hang metal products that only need one or more powder coating layers but no zinc/aluminium coating. These different types of products each follow a different path past the powder coating preparation zone.
What should clients especially pay attention to?
The constructors (clients) must always make the necessary provisions to be able to hang the constructions. This can be done, for example, by:
- providing holes in the constructions
- welding or screwing in hanging eyes
- providing screw threads
- having a discussion in advance with our technical representative
If this is met, our employees can perform their work in the best conditions, which of course leads to an even better end result.

7 days a week
At Tilkin Powder Coatings, you can load and unload around the clock, 7 days a week.
For you and your employees, we have provided the necessary comfort in our covered loading and unloading area of 1200m². Among other things, there is maximum protection for goods and employees during rainy periods.
Unloading can be done with the help of 4 forklifts up to 7 tons and 4 overhead cranes up to 6.3 tons each. We have 3 own trucks (up to 13.6 metres long) for a reliable and punctual delivery and collection service. These ensure that we can load/unload the goods daily in your welding workshop, collect and store them with our own transport, and deliver them back to the site where you are active after surface treatment.
