Why?
There was a growing demand from the market to have materials galvanised first and then powder coated.
Dependent
Powder coating is our profession, and we have been doing it for 25 years as the best. For galvanising, we used to depend on the varying performances of different galvanisation companies. As a result, we lost control over the final quality.
Both galvanising and powder coating must be done expertly to ultimately deliver the intended quality. In the case of justified quality issues – even though it often concerned details – discussions about the cause unfortunately arose all too often.
Solution
To absolutely continue guaranteeing our known quality and to prevent discussions, we sought and found a solution. Thus, a year ago, we entered into a close partnership with Zinq from Houthalen for galvanising. We made clear practical agreements about what, when, and how.
Coordination and follow-up
From Tilkin Powder Coatings, we coordinate every combination order with galvanising and powder coating. We agree on the schedule and follow it closely. We are responsible for transporting the materials to and from Zinq. We check the galvanised work for quality. When we identify non-conforming points, we resolve this directly with Zinq. As a customer, you will not notice this.
Financial settlement
You will receive the galvanisation invoice directly from Zinq after completion. Thanks to mutual agreements with Zinq, our customers enjoy the best galvanisation prices, guaranteed quality, and assured delivery times. This collaboration saves our customers time and money, allowing them to focus even more on their core activities and enjoy a well-deserved holiday.
